David Lyon began his career in 1994 as a financial analyst in the mergers and acquisitions department at Goldman, Sachs & Co. In 1996, Mr. Lyon joined Och-Ziff Capital Management, a hedge fund focused on risk arbitrage and event-driven equity investing. He left Och-Ziff Capital in 1997 to attend Harvard Business School, where he received an MBA in June, 1999. Mr. Lyon joined The Cypress Group in January, 2000. At Cypress, Mr. Lyon specializes in the media, entertainment, lodging and leisure industries. He received a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
